The fact that Men and women of Ladakh Police have provided unrelenting services in most inhospitable conditions and remote locations for decades is enough to describe their service and courage. Ladakh police is in its mega transformational phase since its separation from Jammu and Kashmir Police. It is a hard time and everyone is feeling it in different ways. Change is inherently unsettling for people at all levels of organization because it disturbs your comfort zone and one has to face many unfamiliar challenges. Any significant transformation process creates chaos and issues but it is necessary to generate new values and drive new growth. As Inspector General of Ladakh Police, I am honored to provide a leadership at this crucial phase of the history. Ladakh police is in its nascent stage and our endeavor shall be to build an organization which can provide excellent & efficient service to residents of Ladakh as well to the visitors/tourists in Ladakh. We strive for strong leadership at all levels and high Employee Morale. As a law enforcing agency, it shall be our prime responsibility to prevent and detect crimes and exhibit extreme professionalism while dealing with citizens so that a reflection of our integrity, honesty and efficiency is displayed at all levels. It will be our endeavor to earn trust, confidence and respect of all those whom we serve.
