Information received on midnight of 18th October 2021 that one vehicle carrying 09 labourers
from Bihar stranded on Shankula Top while travelling from Zanskar to Hamachal Pradesh due to
some mechanical fault in the vehicle. Upon receiving this information a rescue team from Police Station Zanskar was dispatched to the
said location early in morning hours of 19th October 2021 but due to long distance, extreme
weather conditions and heavy snow on the road, the team failed to reach at the location.On 20th October 2021, the Rescue Team finally reached
the stranded migrant labourers after trekking for nearly
06 hours uphill in the thick snow.07 labourers out of 09 were rescued by the rescue team
with the help of local people from village Kargyak and
remaining 02 labourers are still missing.
CCTV'S were installed at this unit to keep surveillance and to avoid any untoward incident.
Route Marches, Morning PT, Drills, Yoga etc. were carried out to maintain the Physical Fitness of the Personnel.
The first ever Annual Range Classification(2021) of Police Personnel of this unit was carried out at Shey Firing Butt on 17-08-2021 to 20-08-2021. A total of 350 Police Personnel participated and conducted Group/Application Fire of different types of weapons in which a total of 5500 Rounds ware fired. 03 officials of this unit have been awarded with cash prize of Rupees 1000 each for their exemplary result of firing.
Cleanliness Drive was carried out at various places of District Leh/Kargil under "Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav".
All Ladakh Archery Competition under "Äzadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav" was organized for the first time at UT Level by IRP-25th Battalion.
Interlocking tiles were laid down and a Mini Park(Grass Lawn) was developed on self help basis to beautify the office premises of the Battalion.
A welfare unit has been formed and were imparted training by engaging specialist tradesmen viz. Tailors, Weavers, Knitters etc.

The Special Operation Group comprising of 16 Personnel was formed and intensive training was imparted to them by engaging Retired Army Trainers. regular Firing session of Personne; is also carried out.
A Special Unit comprising of 30 Personnel both Male/Female has been formed and specialized training are being imparted to them.
Ladakh Police succeeded in effective enforcement of various guidelines and restriction issued by Govt, of India and respective Magistrate/ Chairman Disaster Management Authority in combating and containment of novel coronavirus in Leh and Kargil District of U.T Ladakh.
Ladakh Police has mobilized all its manpower from various police units and deployed them on establishment of nakas, patrolling, checking, static guards at isolation, quarantine and containment places to restrict movements.

Keeping in view the harsh climate of Ladakh a Solarized Bathroom was constructed to facilitate the officials of this Unit.
During routine patrolling, police party intercepted a vehicle at upshi, which was carrying huge quantity of alcohol from Manali. Upon questioning, the driver couldn’t provide justified answer for possession and transportation of large quantity of alcohol .
Consequently FIR was registered at PS leh under excise act and investigation was taken up
In the continuous effort to stop pilferage of public resource, ladakh police has intercepted unloading of bitumen(coal tar) at Stone crusher at chushot and during further enquiry police party discovered challan copies of bitumen named under OC 501 GREF C/O 56 APO. Consequently FIR has been registered in PS leh and investigation was taken up.
A Training cum Recreation Hall has been set up at Battalion Headquarter by installation of wooden paneling, flooring etc. for the purpose of regular classes, lectures, conference, workshops etc. for the Police personnel with all basic facilities viz. interactive board, television, projector, portable speaker, audible mic. Etc.
