Ladakh police along with department of tourism initiated first ever ULTIMATE LADAKH CYCLING CHALLENGE-2020. It was a four day event 27th-31st October 2020 on different routes, with increasing difficulty level. The event witnessed participation of 102 riders from all over India including local female and male riders.

Ladakh Police established & made functional in record time Emergency Response Support System (ERSS), an initiative by Government of India under Nirbhaya fund scheme for ensuring safety of women & children. ERSS is a Pan India single free number (112) based Emergency Response Support System for citizens in emergencies/distress where in call can be made 24*7 and assistance can be sought from Fire Brigade, Medical Team or the Police.

Ladakh police has introduced the system of e-Challan to avoid cash transactions so that everything is very clear and transparent. A vehicle e-Challan is a computer-generated challan used by the Traffic Police and is being issued to all the traffic defaulters pan India. The Government of India has initiated this process to make the traffic services convenient, easy as well as transparent to the general public.

In our endeavour to transform Ladakh Police into complete paperless digital organisation, we have initiated the process of e-Office. e office system is an integrated file and record management system that allows employees to manage content, search for data internally and collaborate. The e Office system also enables the electronic movement and the tracking of files, and the archival and retrieval of data.

Considering the extreme climate and huge infrastructural requirement of newly created Ladakh Police, we have created many weather friendly Pre fab structures to provide office space and accommodation to all the employees.
